The Knutsford Jog 2020 has been postponed, as numerous other events across the area are being cancelled or postponed due to the global outbreak of Covid-19 coronavirus.
Organisers say they are hoping to stage it later in the year, but as yet no dates have been put forward.
A post on Facebook said: “We have been advised that our elderly staff are most vulnerable to coronavirus and should not visit events.”
The post added: “We are so sorry, but we hope to [be] back when the outbreak is over.”
