Organisers of Staffordshire Moorlands Pride have announced the festival will return this summer after its inaugural outing in 2025.
The festival is being run by Staffordshire Moorlands–based arts organisation Outside Arts, and will see a weekend of community-led events across from Friday 26 June to Sunday 28 June 2026.
In line with the first event, Staffordshire Moorlands Pride 2026 will take place across towns, villages and community spaces throughout the Moorlands.
This would make it accessible and rooted in the places people live, bosses said.
Individuals, community groups, venues, artists, businesses and organisations are being invited to get involved by hosting events during the Pride weekend.
Activities could include performances, exhibitions, workshops, talks, film screenings, social meet-ups, family-friendly activities or any creative idea that celebrates LGBT identity, inclusion and community.
“Staffordshire Moorlands Pride is about visibility, connection and creativity,” said Katie Aldous, director for Outside Arts.
“We want Pride to feel like it belongs to everyone, wherever they are in the Moorlands.
“By inviting people to programme events locally, we can create a weekend that truly reflects the diversity, talent and warmth of our communities.”
Events can be small or large, formal or informal, indoors or outdoors.
Outside Arts will provide coordination, promotion and support to help bring the weekend together under the shared banner of Staffordshire Moorlands Pride 2026.
Further details will be announced in the coming months.
