The Knutsford Beer Festival 2020 has been cancelled, as numerous other events across the area are being cancelled or postponed due to the global outbreak of Covid-19 coronavirus.
It was set to feature more than 40 real ales and craft beers and a gin bar run by Adam and Katy Rickitt of Dexter and Jones.
The festival attracted over 1,000 people last year.
Festival spokesperson Rachel Bishop posted on social media, saying: “I’m sad to say we’ve had to make the decision to cancel the Knutsford Beer Festival.
“It’s not going to be running this year. We did look to postpone it until later in the year, but we just can’t get a date that’s going to work, so unfortunately there will be no beer festival this year.
“But we will back next year bigger and better. We are going to be doing other things to keep the Knutsford Beer Festival community going.”
