A 35-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a man in Northwich.
Matthew Higgins, of Brook Lane, Northwich, was arrested on Saturday, and has since been charged with murder and assaulting an emergency worker.
Cheshire Police said he has been remanded in custody, and will appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
David Eaton, 37, from Northwich, was found with serious injuries and was pronounced dead shortly after emergency services were called to Brook Lane on Saturday.
A 41-year-old woman who was arrested has been released on conditional bail, police added.
