Nick Brown (Green Party)
I am a teacher and local Green campaigner.
I have worked closely with residents on many issues, particularly campaigning for safer travel for pupils across the area.
It has been a very rewarding experience to meet and work alongside members of the community and I know that I could do so much more if I were elected as your local councillor.
I’d also like to make clear that Greens don’t have a party whip so don’t have to vote as they are told to by their party, unlike the other parties.
This means we can truly speak up for residents.

Steve Davies (Green Party)
I grew up in Eccleston and have lived in Christleton for 30 years, serving as a parish councillor and member of the village fete committee.
My son was born here and attended the local schools. I care about the area and understand the local issues.
I was also a Chester city councillor and I therefore appreciate how the council functions and how best to get things done for the local community.
With the help of Nick and local residents I have campaigned on some really important issues.

Max Hudson (Labour)
I am a business professional with extensive experience in private and public sector environments and I am keen to bring this experience to the role of councillor.
I am ready and willing to offer my support to make sure that the ward of Christleton and Huntington gets the infrastructure and services that we all deserve.
As a ward resident, I understand that each community has its own challenges; whether it be traffic issues in Huntington, parking in Christleton or bus services in Dodleston.
I am here to listen, act and stand up for the residents in this ward. I am especially concerned with water quality in the River Dee and the Caldy Brook.

Stuart Parker (Conservatives)
I have been a ward councillor for 15 years throughout Chester villages , and I am honoured to be selected again to stand as one of the Conservative councillors for Christleton and Huntington Ward.
Previously I owned a recycling company which I sold when I retired, and I had been elected as a councillor.
My business experience allows me to help residents with a wide range of issues, and I am proud to represent residents interests on Cheshire West and Chester Council.
In June 2022 I was honoured by the Queen, and awarded an MBE for services to local government, including being instrumental in the creation of the Storyhouse theatre complex, for which I am very proud.

Bob Thompson (Liberal Democrats)
I am Chester born and raised and have lived here all my life.
My career was in the chemical industry, where I became HR director for a number of INEOS businesses.
I am a champion of communities.
A former councillor, I have run various community groups and led important campaigns like the 6,000-strong petition to save respite care homes across Cheshire.

Chris Ward (Liberal Democrats)
I am an actor and seasonal market trader who has lived in Dodleston for most of my life.
I have been a parish councillor in Dodleston for 12 years and have campaigned on various road-related matters, including 20mph zones, signage, potholes, dropped kerbs for disable access and streetlight safety.

Dave Whitehead (independent)
Me and my family live in Huntington and I’ve worked for nearly 20 years at Chester Business Park, which also happens to be part of the Ward.
I’ve been incredibly active in the community over many years as chair of Huntington Parish Council and a governor at the local primary school.
I’ve achieved so much with the parish council – including getting a reduced speed limit on Aldford Road, getting an extra bus for Christleton High School students and working with Cheshire West and Chester Council (CWAC) and local developers for better housing estate standards both during construction and after-care.
However, I believe our community needs a stronger CWAC voice to get more done locally, and a more joined up approach will benefit everyone.
This is why I am standing as an independent candidate for the ward – for the benefit of everyone in our community, without being hindered by party politics.
Mark Williams (Conservatives)
Nothing submitted.

Tommy Williams (Labour)
I am a hardworking family man who has experience of working in care and education.
I was born in Chester and left aged 15 but returned 18 years ago.
I love my adopted city and as a keen runner, enjoy routes through the beautiful Christleton village and through Caldy Nature Park, a wonderful local asset.
Those who know me consider that I am conscientious and determined, having the Labour Party values of support for the most vulnerable and poor in society, unifying all the residents into a community to be proud of.
I have lived in a rural community and appreciate the challenges that people and businesses have. I am a keen advocate for clean, green jobs and will work to ensure the water companies treat the environment with more respect than at present.
So Cheshire remains proudly non-partisan and has provided the same opportunity to all parties and independent candidates.
