The next production at MADS Little Theatre on Lord Street in Macclesfield will be the classic thriller ‘Gaslight’ by Patrick Hamilton.
It runs from 3rd–8th December and booking is now open.

This play gave rise to the term gaslighting, with the meaning: “a form of psychological abuse in which false information is presented to the victim with the intent of making them doubt their own memory and perception.”
Jack Manningham is slowly, deliberately driving his wife Bella insane.
He has almost succeeded, when help arrives in the form of a former detective, Rough, who believes Manningham not to be all he seems.
Director Logan Westbrook is making his main stage debut, ably assisted by Richard Shute, who is also playing Jack Manningham.
Catherine Rimmer plays Bella, and Steve Donnelly is Rough.
The cast also features Caitlin Johnson and Jill Jordan in her first role at MADS.
