- Jamie Messent (Labour)
- Simon Richard (Labour)

Te Ata Browne (Green Party)
My extensive involvement in local government and the Green Party highlights my commitment to promoting sustainability and creating a fairer society.
With a diverse range of ideas and perspectives, I can offer fresh insights to tackle local issues effectively.
My decision to raise my family in the area demonstrates my dedication to the community, and my love for the area can motivate me to work towards representing its residents effectively.
My experience, vision, and passion make me a strong candidate for the task of representing the community and contributing to building a greener and more equitable future.

Steven Edgar (Conservatives)
I am a Haslington Ward resident with eight years experience as a borough councillor.
I find the role immensely rewarding and satisfying. I have also served on four parish councils which gave an excellent insight on local issues.
I have always been available to residents via phone or email to discuss their concerns and look to resolving matters by providing the best possible solution when I can.
Keeping in touch via newsletters is also very important and have done so regularly in the past.
I am deeply concerned about our environment and its need for protection. I won’t promise miracles, but I will always strive to resolve matters as they arise.

Alison Heler (Conservatives)
I was born in the village of Winterley and lived here until my early 20s.
I grew up in a farming community and enjoy the rural way of life. My family have lived here for five generations.
I am active within the community with regard to housing developments. Having grown up in a rural environment I understand the ongoing conflict between rural life and a more suburban life.
I am a past member of Haslington and Crewe Green Parish Council and am involved various projects. I’m a friend of the Methodist Church and volunteer at their events.
When stopped by residents who raise concerns regarding our area I do my best to get answers.
I believe passionately that residents should have their say in what happens locally and believe I’m able to represent them.

Jamie Messent (Labour)
My name is Jamie Messent and I have worked previously in Haslington and surrounding areas with some great organisations and charities.
Now, I just want to be able to give something back to the community and do what I can to improve the lives of residents.
I was first elected as a Crewe town councillor in 2019. I am currently deputy leader and chair of the operations and improvements committee.
This committee works with Cheshire East Council to provide CCTV, enforcement and ranger service within the town.
I am an active trade unionist and have a real understanding of the problems facing workers with the cost of living increases that we have seen.

Simon Richards (Labour)
I first became involved with the area when I started teaching at Sandbach Boys School.
I loved the area so much that my wife and I decided to make it our home in 2016 and we now have two wonderful children.
After leaving teaching in 2019 I worked as an Ofsted registered childminder working in Wheelock and Winterley.
You may even have seen me pushing a double pram down towards the Goslings preschool on occasion!
Haslington and its nearby villages are such wonderful places for children to grow up, with fantastic green spaces and play areas, great local facilities and a brilliant and vibrant community.
The excessive growth of housing in all parts of the ward creates a need for investment and as your ward councillor I would love to be able to make things even better for the children of Haslington, Winterley, Oakhanger and Weston.
So Cheshire remains proudly non-partisan and has provided the same opportunity to all parties and independent candidates.
