I am retired Cheshire police officer who during my career was the beat officer for Lache Ward.
I want to provide a service for the community I served professionally and when working often looked around and asked myself is this the best that the local authority can do?
I believe in public service but also believe that this service should provide value for money for the council tax payer.
Money should not be wasted on vanity projects nor firms of consultants who often provide little in the way of value.
If elected I will fight against waste, fight for facilities to be made available in Lache Ward and fight for the streets to be cleaned and roads and pavements repaired.

Alex Tate (Labour)
I care passionately about where we live. I have represented our area on the council before and I would be proud to do it again.
I know how important community is in Lache and as the ward councillor I will work hard to support events that bring people together.
I know people in Lache can sometimes feel forgotten, like money for things goes elsewhere instead of here. Well, that has to change.
I will make sure that our community centre gets investment and that the new play area at Sycamore Playing Fields is delivered.
I will also stand up for residents in the cost of living crisis, fighting to maintain services at our doctors and at the community centre.
I believe in a better future for our children, for our community and for our country. I hope you can support me on Thursday 4th May.
So Cheshire remains proudly non-partisan and has provided the same opportunity to all parties and independent candidates.
