Confusions by Alan Ayckbourn
Knutsford Little Theatre
4th – 7th September 2019
The 2019/2020 Knutsford Little Theatre season opens with the classic ‘Confusions’, a collection of five one-act plays by the legendary Alan Ayckbourn.
All the plays are interlinked by locations, characters or character’s relatives, as well as underlying themes of desire for companionship, loneliness and obsession – but all in the classic comedic and observational Ayckbourn style.
This is the directing debut of Pete Blain, who has been with the theatre for eleven years, and also features three newcomers: Kath Lamb, Miranda Chance and Giles Robertson.
With a talented cast, including Knutsford Little Theatre regular Mike Wilding (who also appeared in the 2007 production of ‘Confusions’), and fresh from their performances in the recent playfest, Andrew Gregory, Lucy Oliver and Lydia Gray.
In addition, the cast includes familiar faces Gary Edwards and James Prestwich, who were last seen in the 2018 award-winning production of ‘Aftermath’ and ‘Will You Remember Them?’.
Show dates are Wednesday 4th to Saturday 7th September at 7.30 pm at Knutsford Little Theatre on Queen Street.
Tickets are priced at £10 each, with a 2-for-1 offer for the Wednesday performance.
