Sam Corcoran (Labour)
I have lived in Sandbach for 23 years and am married with two children at Sandbach schools.
I have been a Sandbach town councillor since 2007 and a Cheshire East councillor since 2011.
In May 2019 I was elected as leader of Cheshire East Council in a joint Labour-Independent administration. This has brought stability to the council.
As a chartered accountant, I have brought financial rigour to the council and it now has a fully-balanced four-year budget.
During the pandemic I produced daily videos posted on social media providing up-to-date information and advice.
I have worked with local groups in Sandbach Heath and East ward to revamp playgrounds on Mortimer Drive and also the Church Lane Community Park.

Dave Poole (independent)

So Cheshire remains proudly non-partisan and has provided the same opportunity to all parties and independent candidates.
