I’ve lived in the Colshaw part of Handforth ward for the last eight years with my husband and, very recently, our baby daughter. I work for a regulatory body based in Wilmslow.
I was elected to Handforth Town Council in 2021. Since then I’ve been holding regular surgeries to listen to the concerns of residents and to assist with any issues they are facing.
I believe it’s high time that the voices of Handforth people were heard loud and clear at Cheshire East Council.
I will use my influence with the Labour group to make sure this happens and that real, positive changes are made.
I will support local people in the cost-of-living crisis and I’ll push hard for funding for local buses, youth services, school breakfast clubs and free school meals for all primary school children.
