Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service is planning to build a new, state-of-the-art firefighter training centre at its Sadler Road site in Winsford.
The ambition is to build a state-of-the-art firefighter training centre that is fit for the future.
Fire service bosses say that it has been in the planning process for some time and that a great deal of consideration has been given to ensure that there will be minimal disruption to its neighbours during the building process.
There will be an opportunity to talk to the firefighters and developers involved in the project on Tuesday 11th September 2018 (3.30-7.30pm) when the plans will also be on display for the public.
Those attending will be find out more about the building schedule and have their say on the plans to redevelop Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service’s training facilities in Winsford.
The new facility is expected to provide ground-breaking technology and the ability to present real-life scenarios, ranging from serious motorway collisions to dealing with building fires, keeping firefighters highly-skilled and equipped to deal with a myriad of life-saving situations.
