Visitors have flocked to Northwich since ‘Beach on the Quay’ was launched at Weaver Point just over a week ago.
The giant artificial urban beach has attracted people to spend the day making sandcastles or relax on deckchairs.
Children were wowed by Homer and Marge, as the famous pair of Donkeys came to Northwich to give rides, while others enjoyed having their photos taken in summer-themed picture frames to get into the British seaside spirit.
The beach will remain in situ until Sunday 2nd September and will be open from 10am-6pm every day throughout the summer holidays.
