Marilyn Houston (Labour)

Born and raised in Crewe, I’ve worked for Crewe and Nantwich Borough Council and Cheshire East Council gaining vast experience in the successful delivery of public services, including children’s centres and social housing.

Grateful to be elected to represent Crewe West, on Cheshire East Council and Crewe Town Council in 2019, I’m proud of the work I’ve done with fellow Labour councillor Connor Naismith, standing up for residents.

If elected I will continue to fight to protect our green spaces, tackle highways maintenance and anti-social behaviour, promote better bus services and commit to delivering a town that residents can be proud of.

Stephen Macallan (Putting Crewe First)

I am a highly experienced and qualified practitioner of alternative medicine.

My interest in alternative medicine began when I experienced the benefits of traditional acupuncture, which led me to train with Professor Worsley at the College of Traditional Chinese Acupuncture.

With practices in both London and Cheshire, I am dedicated to helping people achieve optimal health and wellbeing through alternative medicine.

As a candidate for the Putting Crewe First party in Cheshire, I am committed to representing the interests of the people of Crewe and finding solutions to the challenges the community faces.

With my extensive experience, expertise, and dedication to improving people’s health and wellbeing through alternative medicine, I would be an excellent candidate for the citizens of Crewe.

Connor Naismith (Labour)

I am delighted to be standing as a Labour candidate to be re-elected to represent the Crewe West ward on Cheshire East council.

I live in Crewe with my wife, a teacher, and 11-month-old daughter.

I am dedicated to public service both in my professional life, where I work for the Independent Office for Police Conduct, and outside of full-time work where I have served as a councillor for the last two years.

I get a real buzz out of getting out there and delivering results for residents and am proud of what myself and colleague Marilyn Houston have achieved in the short time we have served together.

However, there is much more to do, particularly in terms of delivering regeneration projects, delivering better highway maintenance and protecting our parks and green spaces.
