  • Paul Roberts (Liberal Democrats)
  • Conran Tickle (Labour)
  • Adrian Waddelove (Conservatives)

Daniel Owen (Green Party)

Nothing submitted.

Paul Roberts (Liberal Democrats)

I was elected to Cheshire West and Chester Council in 2019, when I gained Farndon Ward from the Conservatives, increasing my share of the vote by around 20%.

I am the Liberal Democrat group leader.

I represented around half of the current Farndon Ward on the former Chester City Council for 13 years, where I held the environment portfolio, then finance, and then became council leader.

I am a qualified accountant and held senior roles in a major multinational company.

My wife Vera (who is also very active in the Liberal Democrats) and I have two children and four grandchildren.

I am a bridge grand master and regular represent the county at bridge.

Conran Tickle (Labour)

Nothing submitted.

Adrian Waddelove (Conservatives)

I am a familiar figure on local cricket fields – having played for Malpas, and now Tattenhall (where I am chairman), since the age of 11.

I was born and bred in Cheshire and graduated from Durham University in 2020.

My public affairs day-job involves frequent trips to Parliament to speak to MPs and officials on energy matters, arguing on behalf of local communities for the protection of British interests and jobs.

I became interested in local politics because every decision made truly matters and has implications for us all as residents.

I want to ensure your voices are heard and represented at a local level.

My campaign pledges include scrapping Labour’s green bin tax, fighting their annual council tax hikes, fixing our pothole crisis and being more accountable to voters by holding monthly surgeries in the ward.
