Sandbach United FC U13s are hoping for a roaringly good season now that they’re being supported by Swansway Jaguar in Crewe.
It’s just over a month since we reported that the team was looking for a new sponsor to provide a new away kit for its squad of 16 boys.
The boys visited the dealership, on Crewe Green roundabout, along with their manager Steve Jenkins, and head of business at Swansway Jaguar Matt Hill was delighted to see the boys showing off their new kit.
Matt said: “We’re delighted to get behind one of our local football teams.
“Exercise is so important to young people’s health, it’s certainly great to see the boys training and playing football, rather than spending hours and hours staring at screens.
“Good luck to them for the rest of the season and win, lose or draw, we know they’ll enjoy themselves.”
Delighted team manager, Steve Jenkins commented: “Swansway Jaguar are supporting us for this season and we couldn’t be happier.
“It was a real thrill for the team to come down to the dealership and see what excellence looks like and I must admit I enjoyed getting behind the wheel of the stunning orange F-Type that was in the showroom!”
Steve added: “All managers of youth football teams struggle. We do it for the love of the game, but there is such a lot kit, training aids and so on that go into getting a team onto the pitch, so we want to say a big thank you to Swansway Jaguar for getting behind us.”
