One of Sandbach United Football Club’s U13 teams is looking for sponsorship to provide a new away kit for its squad of 16 boys.
The boys play in the Mid Cheshire Youth League and take part in matches all over mid Cheshire and sometimes further afield when taking part in tournaments and friendly games.
The boys come from Crewe, Sandbach, Middlewich and Alsager and attend local high schools in Holmes Chapel, Sandbach and Congleton.
Sandbach United provides a home kit for each of its players – which has to last 2 years, despite the challenge presented by the players’ constant growth spurts!
A club spokesperson told us: “In the past we have received sponsorship from local house builders, however their developments have now been completed.
“We are currently contacting local businesses to try and obtain sponsorship.”
The approximate cost for the kits (including printing of numbers and sponsors logo) is £450, and in return for sponsorship the team is happy to have photos taken for PR/marketing purposes.
One proud parent from the club said: “The coaches and parents involved are all volunteers and are so committed and put a lot of time and effort into the team.”
They added: “Please help our sons’ football team!”
