The Little Cheshire Gallery is a brand new art gallery, now open in Nantwich, exhibiting a range of artwork from both emerging and established local artists.
From bold abstracts to nostalgic portraiture and harmonious landscapes to exciting mixed media pieces, the gallery offers a friendly and relaxed space where everyone is welcome to browse some stunning artwork from across Cheshire and the North West.
Anna Carter from the new gallery told us: “With more and more galleries representing artists from national publishers, it can be hard to find art that reflects and celebrates the essence of where a collector lives.
“Our ambition is to introduce unique artwork from both local and national artists in a fun and luxurious environment.”
Initial artists being featured include mixed media portrait artist Hatty Butler, who has just had an extremely successful exhibition in London.
Also featured is emerging artist Joseph Walker whose energetic work celebrates his huge personality (and the odd party or two!)
There’s also space for Elena Maria Roman – a colourful, expressive watercolourist whose vibrant works are full of life and joy.
Gillian Hamilton’s exquisitely painted work take simple everyday objects and with teasing composition encourages us to make up our own stories.
Meanwhile, Kristine Nason’s eye-catching equestrian pieces are brimming with light (literally glistening with gold leaf additions) and full of texture and movement.
The Little Cheshire Gallery team is looking forward to sharing its ever expanding portfolio of eclectic work with clients from Nantwich, Cheshire and beyond.
An official opening event is being held on Saturday 1st June (1.30-5.30pm).
