Middlewich Cricket Club’s inaugural summer fundraiser, ‘Fiesta on the Field’, will take place from 14th to 15th July 2018 (perfect timing for the Russia 2018 World Cup final which kicks off at 4pm on the 15th).
Early Bird tickets are now available for what promises to be a fun-filled family weekend of live music, entertainment, sport, food and drink.
Gates open at 5pm on Saturday 14th July for an evening of live music, including a number of exciting local bands: Never Trust A Folkie, The Mallisons, AD Cooke and Good for Gordon.
There will also be a pop-up beer festival showcasing a selection of summer ales and of course no festival would be complete without a gin and prosecco bar or delicious food.
Gates will close at 10pm, re-opening again at 1pm on Sunday 15th July when the club will host family film The Greatest Showman, followed by a free viewing of the World Cup Final live on the biggest outdoor screen in Middlewich.
Dave Parry, chairman of Middlewich Cricket Club, commented: “We are delighted to be hosting our ‘Fiesta on the Field’ fundraising event on the biggest sporting weekend of the year – and with the biggest outdoor screen in Middlewich!
“We want people to come and have fun, listen to some local music and enjoy the food and drink on offer, whilst raising vital funds for the club.
“The money raised will go a long way in supporting the cricket club’s efforts to improve equipment and facilities for the youth teams and clubhouse refurbishment.
“We also are extremely grateful to our sponsors, RAS Retail and Asset Solutions, Servoca Secure Solutions and GMS Services Ltd for their generosity and support.”
Early Bird tickets are on sale now from www.middlewichcricketclub.co.uk and will be available online until Friday 13th July 2018.
Middlewich Cricket Club was established in 1910 and has first, second and youth teams based at Haddon Field, Croxton Lane.
