Brio Leisure (which operates leisure, health and wellbeing services across Cheshire West and Chester) is hosting an evening of live music with local musicians this September.
Brio Entertainment operates three venues – providing a variety of events, including: comedy, dance and pantomimes.
In September, their Northwich Memorial Court venue will welcome a concert featuring Roberts Bakery Band, Foden’s Band and Lions Youth Band.
The concert has been staged to raise money for Lions Youth Band, which is aiming to raise £20,000 for a trip to Switzerland for the European Youth Brass Band Championships following their impressive second place success at April’s National Youth Brass Band Championships.
Fodens Band
They will be starring alongside world-famous brass bands Foden’s Band and Roberts Bakery Band, based in Sandbach and Northwich respectively.
Roberts Bakery Band recently performed at the Bluedot Festival at Jodrell Bank, showcasing a number of different genres and popular hits including songs by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’ number one single Uptown Funk.
Musical director of Roberts Bakery Band, Paul Lovatt-Cooper explained: “This concert brings us all together for a musical extravaganza that showcases the fantastic talent all the way from the beginners upwards.
“We are delighted to use this concert as an opportunity to help raise funds so the young musicians at Lions can compete in the European Championships next year.”

The audience can expect performances of brass band classics alongside film music favourites and UK chart toppers, ending with a mass bands finale.
There will even be some delicious sweet treats from Roberts Bakery for the audience to take home!
Brio entertainment manager, Phil Harding commented: “We’re really excited to welcome these local bands to the Northwich Memorial Court stage, and we’re very proud of our local talent.”
Lions Youth Band
Phil added: “Roberts Bakery Band are the latest addition to our exciting season of music coming up, which includes Northern Rhythm Big Band and The Rat Pack – Swingin’ At the Sands, now there really is something for everyone.”
‘From Sandbach to Switzerland’ will be at Northwich Memorial Court on Sunday 23rd September.
