Macclesfield Half Marathon & 5K takes place on the Sunday 23rd September this year and entries are already racing in!
Hundreds of runners will be lacing up their shoes to take on the challenging and rewarding course which showcases some lovely routes around the Cheshire countryside.
Runners should enter now at www.macc-half.co.uk to be part of the event.
The ‘Macc Half’ is entirely organised by volunteers and all the proceeds go to local charities.
The 2017 race raised more than £10,000 for East Cheshire Hospice, The Rossendale Trust and Just Drop-In.
This year’s race will be supporting The Rossendale Trust, Just Drop-In and Cre8.
At no extra cost, runners can choose to enter as a team (with their friends, colleagues, family, school or charity) as part of the Community Team Challenge.
All you need is a team of three for the half marathon distance, or a team of five for the 5km distance.
It’s a great way to get together, challenge yourselves and have fun!
