Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club is bringing the best in live stand-up every month to Crewe!
Each show will have 4 top professional comedians, including the MC, and will bring you comedians from such shows as Mock The Week, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Live at The Apollo, Celebrity Juice, Russell Howards Good News plus many more.
Daliso Chaponda
Daliso Chaponda will be headlining the first of the comedy clubs, who many will recognise for coming their din last year’s Britain’s Got Talent on ITV.
Beginning his comedy career in Canada, at the prestigious The Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, subsequent appearances – including CBC Television’s ‘Trans Canada Comedy Trail’ – confirmed his position as Africa’s top comic.
He also received a golden buzzer from Amanda Holden, who later said: “He’s self-deprecating, funny, relevant – laugh after laugh after laugh. It just kept coming.”
The 38-year-old comedian from Malawi has won over millions of fans with his cutting remarks about living as an African in Britain.
This year he began his first world tour but has still managed to find time to swing by Crewe Lyceum later this month.
Roger Monkhouse
Roger Monkhouse is one of the regular writers on Channel 4 comedy panel show ‘8 Out of 10 Cats.’
He is responsible for scripting up-to-the minute topical gags every week for the show which features Jimmy Carr alongside team captains Dave Spikey and Sean Lock.
A consummate stand-up, who exerts a masterful control over any audience, Roger is a highly original and quirky performer.
His trademark stage-prowling style and curious, inimitable manner have established him as one of the hottest names on the comedy circuit.
Matt Rees
Multi-award winning comedian Matt Rees has generated a huge buzz on the circuit with his unique brand of well-crafted gags and acerbic delivery earning him high praise from audiences and critics alike.
Thomas Green
Thomas Green is a UK-based, Australian stand up comedian and actor with an interesting plot twist: he’s a supply teacher in the UK.
He is known for having a face of elasticity, a unique story-telling style and a highly energetic stage presence.
