Teams wanted for inclusive adult football tournament

Shares

With football fever now finally sweeping the nation, footballers of all abilities and gender orientations are being invited to take part in an inclusive six-a-side tournament in Cheshire.

Deafness Support Network (DSN) will host its annual Six-A-Side Charity Tournament at Moss Farm 3G pitch in Northwich on Sunday 29th July from midday until 2.30pm.

Teams of six will battle it out to be crowned winner, and a charity raffle will also be held to raise funds for DSN which works to support more than 100,000 people in the county with hearing loss.

Erica Jones from DSN said: “The World Cup is great inspiration for teams to get together and take part in a great day of knock-out matches!

“The difference with this tournament though is that any adult, of any ability and gender can also take part.”

Entry cost for each player is £10. To submit your interest or for more information, please contact Erica via email: ejones@dsnonline.co.uk

DSN is the service provider organisation for deaf people in the county of Cheshire and the surrounding areas.

Its services are delivered under contract on behalf of Cheshire East, Cheshire West and Chester, and Flintshire Councils.
