Wybunbury Tower on Main Road in Wybunbury, near Nantwich, was open during their annual free heritage event on Saturday 14th September 2019.
Heritage Open Days is England’s biggest free heritage festival.
Visitors could climb 96 ft to the top of the leaning tower – all that remains of the Grade II listed 15th century Church of St Chad – to take in the magnificent panoramic views of the south Cheshire countryside and beyond.
En route up to the top of the tower visitors could see the mezzanine floor, ringing chamber, bell chamber, and clock chamber before emerging onto the roof.
The tower is owned and run by the Wybunbury Tower Preservation Trust.
