Health commissioners in South Cheshire and Vale Royal are inviting local residents to attend a joint Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday 6th September.
NHS South Cheshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and NHS Vale Royal CCG work closely together to ensure that local health and social care services are accessible for patients and are joined up as much as possible.
Through a joint AGM, local people can hear about the performance and achievements across the whole area over the past 12 months as well as having the chance to give their views about their latest work to shape services.
The event will also include an opportunity to find out more about local healthcare services via a ‘marketplace’ offering.
Dr Andrew Wilson, GP and chair of NHS South Cheshire CCG, said: “We look forward to meeting our patients and local residents at this event.”
He explained: “Mental health and cancer services are just two of the information stalls at our marketplace. There will also be information about the different ways you can get involved with the CCGs’ work.”
Terry Savage, lay member for NHS Vale Royal CCG, added: “This is your chance to ask us questions about the work we have been doing, see how we have spent our money, and let us know what you think about our plans for the future.”
Members of the governing body and executive team will be on-hand to answer questions.
Copies of the annual report and accounts for 2017/18 for both of the CCGs will also be available.
The event is being held from 6pm to 8pm at: Winsford Academy, Grange Lane, Winsford, CW7 2BT.
Anyone is welcome to attend, but in order to provide an idea of numbers, those wishing to attend at asked to book their places online or by calling 01270 275 303.
