Cheshire East Council has issued advance notice of the closure of Sandy Lane in Congleton for a nine-month period.
A vital phase of the Congleton Link Road construction project is about to start, which requires the closure of Sandy Lane.
Located between Sandbach Road and Holmes Chapel, Sandy Lane will be closed initially for nine months from Tuesday 28th May 2019 until February 2020.
The council says the closure is essential to allow the construction of two new roundabouts and to divert and install new utility services.
