Russell Watson is embarking on a new tour in 2025, marking two and a half decades since the release of his debut album.
Performing alongside his live band, The Evolution Tour will offer fans a perfect opportunity to celebrate the incredible journey of one of the world’s greatest voices.
Known as The Voice, Watson will be performing some of his best-known tracks and favourite pieces – including Va, pensiero, Nessun Dorma, Caruso, Where My Heart Will Take Me (from Star Trek: Enterprise), plus new songs Shine and Grow.
The tenor, who lives near Congleton in Cheshire, was the first UK classical artist to score a transatlantic number one in both the UK and the US.
He has since achieved eight top 10 albums, more than 7 million album sales worldwide, and four Classical Brit Awards.
With a presence in the UK Top 20 on 17 separate occasions, his voice has cemented his place in the music history books – with achievements unmatched in the world of classical crossover music.
Outside the recording studio, Watson has performed for some of the world’s most notable figures – including multiple appearances for Queen Elizabeth II, King Charles III and the late Pope John Paul II.
His star power extends to musical theatre too, having taken on roles in War of the Worlds and Chicago.
He was also one of the contestants on the 2020 series of I’m A Celebrity on ITV.
