A university in Shropshire is offering two, free of charge, short courses this January.
Harper Adams University has been awarded funding to deliver both a leadership and management course and a foundations of project management course to organisations across based in Telford.
The university said its leadership and management course was for anyone looking to lead with confidence, inspire their teams, and drive and deliver tangible results.
They added that it would cover topics which include quality management and continuous improvement, financial management and analysis, effective communication, and stakeholder engagement.
Meanwhile, the foundations of project management course was aimed at those currently working at a junior management level (or aspiring to be) who are looking to hone and develop their project management skills.
Delegates will learn how to define a project, its objectives and requirements, apply project management tools and techniques, manage stakeholder relationships, and develop collaborative relationships.
“Both courses have been designed specifically to provide an opportunity for individuals to enhance their skills, to help them achieve their career goals, and to provide real, tangible value to them and their wider business,” said Helen Walker, operations and business engagement coordinator at Harper Adams University.
The courses begin in the second week of January, running for seven weeks, and combine face-to-face sessions with virtual training.
Any organisation operating within the Telford and Wrekin Local Authority is eligible to apply.
Spaces on each course are limited to 30 delegates.
