Graham Heatley (Conservatives)
I am a tooling engineer who is married with four children.
I have lived in Gowy Rural ward for over 25 years and represented residents for a number of years as councillor for Gowy Rural and the former Elton ward.
I have served on a number of committees during my time on Cheshire West and Chester Council – including children and education, licensing, regeneration and safeguarding to name but a few.
I also sit on a number of liaison panels, ensuring residents voices are heard with local business including ESSAR, Protos and Encirc.
I am extremely passionate about the community and ensuring residents receive great services for the lowest possible taxation.

Margaret Parker (Conservatives)
I have been a ward councillor for 25 years throughout Chester Villages, and have been selected again to stand as one of the two Conservative candidates for the Gowy Rural Ward.
Currently I am the Conservative opposition group leader on Cheshire West and Chester Council.
As a councillor I sit on the adoption and fostering panel for the authority. I am also a member on the people scrutiny committee overseeing children and adult safeguarding issues.
I am a corporate parent to our looked-after children, a role which I am proud to hold, and work tirelessly for them.
I speak at cabinet, full council and other meetings representing my residents on the issues and concerns they have raised, and have had many successes and recommendations adopted and taken forward.
