Following his dramatic announcement this morning, Chris Evans has confirmed that he and his team plan to continue bringing the motoring festival CarFest to both Cheshire and Hampshire next year.
A tweet posted on the official CarFest Twitter account said: “Following his announcement this morning Chris & the team plan to continue with his joyous festival CarFest.”
It added: “Plans for next year will be announced in the next few weeks”
The dates for 2019 have been confirmed as 26th-28th July and the venue will once again be Bolesworth Castle.
Laverstoke Park Farm continues to be the venue for CarFest South and this event takes place 23rd-25th August.
CarFest Family is described as a fabulous mix of music, cars, food and fun.
The brainchild of broadcaster Chris Evans, who today revealed he’ll be leaving his BBC Radio 2 breakfast show in favour of Virgin Radio, the festivals raise money for BBC Children In Need.
