This morning (26/11/20) two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus attended a basement fire in Leighton Buzzard town centre.
The crew was called out to a smoke-logged basement and used a dry powder extinguisher to deal with the small electrical fire.
Both Leighton Buzzard rescue pumps were mobilised to Market Square at around 6.45am to investigate a fire alarm sounding at a business premises.
After isolating the electricity, the incident was left in the hands of engineers from the electricity board.
