The official launch of this year’s Beating the Bounds fundraiser has taken place, with the event due to take place on Sunday 13th May 2018.
The event is a sponsored walk around the Wilmslow Parish boundary for East Cheshire Hospice, and those supporting the event this year include: South Manchester Long Distance Walkers Association, Active Cheshire, Wilmslow Rugby Club, The Merlin, Bullocks Coaches, Running Bear and Athletics Events North West.
The event is being organised by the hospice’s Wilmslow Support Group. Spokesperson Ned Spencer said: “We have 7 different ways that people can take part in Beating the Bounds.
“There’s something for everyone! With lots of refreshments included. Please join in and help a great cause”
Participants can choose to from:
– 15 mile boundary walk
– 8 mile walk – with minibus back to the start
– 5 mile dog walk
– 4 mile family walk with picnic and games
– 2 mile leisurely stroll and tour of Styal village – with free afternoon tea!
– Photography walk with tuition
