TV star Will Mellor is to host an exclusive ladies’ lunch at The Mere Golf Resort and Spa next month.
Caudwell Children, a national charity which provides practical and emotional support for disabled children and their families, has announced that the actor is to host and perform at the exclusive charity lunch, taking place on Friday 23rd November.
The event will see the Hollyoaks and Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps star entertaining guests and keeping the event running smoothly.
Will said: “I’m delighted to be hosting this event as I’m passionate about the welfare of children and disability sport.
“Since Caudwell Children was founded, 18 years ago, it has supported over 25,000 children, with over 600 medical conditions, at a cost of £39 million.
“That’s a hugely impressive amount and I’m hoping that the lovely ladies of Cheshire can join me at the Cheshire Ladies Lunch so that, together, we can add to that figure and help even more disabled children to have an active and independent life.”
Tickets include a two-course gourmet lunch and luxury goody bag as well as top class entertainment.
Sam Walker, events manager at Caudwell Children, said of Will: “He’s a fabulous all round entertainer so our Cheshire ladies are in for a fabulous afternoon.”
Dawn Ward, one of ITV Be’s Real Housewives of Cheshire, is also set to give a talk at the lunch.
Dawn explained: “I’ve supported Caudwell Children for a number of years now and I have a real insight into the help they give to disabled children.
“Many of the services that they deliver can’t be accessed through statutory methods so without their support children wouldn’t get the specialist wheelchairs, sports equipment, short breaks, therapies and treatments that they need and deserve.
“I’m looking forward to explaining to guests exactly what the charity does and why it needs their support. Oh, and having a couple of glasses of bubbly of course!”
Tickets for the Cheshire Ladies Lunch cost £75 per person or £700 per table of 10. VIP tickets are £110 per person or £1,000 for a table of 10.
