A national clothing brand has returned to Trentham Shopping Village after a full shop re-fit.
Weird Fish, which has 23 stores across the UK, opened this week in a 1,000 sq ft store offering a range of seasonal clothing and accessories for men and women.
The store can be found at Unit 206b – and bosses say the stores range is designed to give a relaxed, ‘forever weekend’ feeling.
Richard Lancelot, head of retail at Weird Fish, commented: “Our refreshed Trentham Shopping Village store marks an exciting stage in our retail journey, as we gradually expand our portfolio of stores across the UK.
“Each store location is carefully considered in line with our ‘destination strategy’, as we focus on opening in places where we know our customers choose to shop.
“Trentham Shopping Village is known for its diverse selection of shops and activities, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors each year.
“It’s fantastic to be part of its established offering with our collection of high-quality, timeless products that fast become staple wardrobe favourites.”
The new-look store in Trentham Shopping Village comes as the brand continues to invest in growing its presence in the Midlands, with existing stores including those in Rowsley and Evesham.
Weird Fish in Trentham Shopping Village currently employs five members of staff.
Since 2019, the company has been focusing on incorporating sustainability into every element of its business.
This includes the introduction of partnerships with green and ethical factories, increased use of sustainable fabrics – including bamboo and organic cotton – and the roll-out of eco-friendly grass paper bags, packaging and labelling materials.
