The Real Housewives of Cheshire is due to return for a seventh series (can you believe it?) on Monday 26th March.
The show has divided opinion, with some treating it as a ‘guilty pleasure’ and others condemning it for showing the county in a poor light.
After all the drama and fallings-out of the previous six series, there are only three members of the original cast still left in the seventh outing of the reality show.
Dawn Ward, Lauren Simon and Tanya Bardsley return along with more recent additions Ester Dee, Stacey Forsey, Seema Malhotra, Rachel Lugo and Nermina Pieters-Mekic.
This year’s newcomer is Christine McGuinness, wife of Take Me Out host Paddy McGuinness, while Leanne Brown becomes the show’s most recent drop out.
Leanne told the Manchester Evening News newspaper that it was simply too upsetting to continue filming while the row with her former friend Dawn Ward was in the hands of lawyers.
The pair have been embroiled in a long-running financial row which has not been explained as part of the series.
Other headlines involving the Real Housewives stars include Ester Dee’s break-up with millionaire husband John Temple.
john told The Sun: “Ester is my wife, she doesn’t live in Cheshire, and there is no Cheshire mansion.
“She splits her time between my apartment in Leamington Spa and one I bought for her in Wales. The Rolls-Royce she drives is mine.”
The pair married in 2015 but he did not appear in the show and claims to have had no knowledge about Ester’s involvement either.
Ester split with her boyfriend Rob at the end of the show’s last series, confirming that she’d moved out of his Macclesfield home and said she was on a ‘trial period’ with husband John.
Rob has since slammed Ester’s behaviour and said that he regretted appearing on the show.
The Real Housewives of Cheshire returns on Monday 26th March – expect more of the same!
