The Honey Bee in Wilmslow, part of the Vintage Inns chain, has reopened following a major refurbishment.
The pub, located on Altrincham Road, has been forced to up its game in the face of stiff competition from of a vibrant independent foodie offering locally along with the impending arrival of Hickory’s Smokehouse which is taking on the former Boddington Arms.
Nathalie Hawkins, general manager of The Honey Bee, commented: “We wanted the new look to provide guests with a cosy pub where they can enjoy dinner, have a few drinks after their busy day or simply to relax with their four-legged friends.”
Nathalie added: “We hope that added features such as extended bar area and new dining space will be loved by all of our guests, both regulars and first-timers.”
The Honey Bee is part of the Vintage Inns group, and reopened on Friday 18th October 2019.
The inn was previously known as Oversley House, and was a private home until the mid-20th century.
After a period operating as a residential home for elderly people, the building became Oversley House Hotel, and later became a pub.
