Superheroes from the DC and Marvel comic book universes will be patrolling the streets today (Friday 1st May) in Wilmslow and Alderley Edge.
Whilst remaining socially distant, they’ll be helping to maintain law and order by bringing a smile to the faces of locals and raising money to support the NHS.
Batman and Spider-Man (aka Oli Dunn and Jason Baird) will be following a pre-planned route (see below) although the schedule may need to be altered on the day.
Whilst patrolling the streets of Stockport and surrounding areas dressed as Spider-Man, Jason Baird has raised more than £30,000 for NHS Charities Together. His goal is to raise £50,000 via his JustGiving fundraising page.
There are bound to be plenty of mischievous antics and chaotic capers when he joins local chocolatier Oli Dunn, so make sure you keep an eye out for them on a pavement near you, or join in the fun via social media!
