Snow Patrol have been announced as the latest headliners for the Cheshire leg of next year’s Forest Live concert series.
They will play Delamere Forest on Friday 13 June, and tickets will go on sale shortly.
Snow Patrol are best known for their anthemic hits Chasing Cars and Run, as well as Just Say Yes and Open Your Eyes.
The Northern Irish three piece comprises Gary Lightbody, Nathan Connolly and Johnny McDaid.
They formed in Dundee in 1994, and released their 5-times platinum debut album Final Straw in 2003.
The hit track from that album, Run, saw them catapulted to national acclaim as they led the post-Britpop charge.
Snow Patrol were also recognised with seven Meteor Ireland Music Awards, an Ivor Novello award and nominated for six BRIT Awards plus a Grammy.
Earlier this year, they released their aptly titled album The Forest Is The Path.
In 2025, Delamere Forest will also be playing host to Blossoms – and bosses have promised more acts yet to be announced.
The 2025 Forest Live gigs will take place at four forest venues across the country – Cannock Chase in Staffordshire, Delamere in Cheshire, High Lodge in Suffolk and Westonbirt Arboretum in Gloucestershire.
Other artists already announced include Sting (Cannock Chase and Westonbirt Arboretum), The Script (Westonbirt Arboretum and High Lodge) and Elbow (Westonbirt Arboretum).
