Knutsford Market Hall is introducing ‘Recipe of the Month’ to visitors, using ingredients sourced from the market hall’s traders.
The first recipe is from Ollie Chadwick of The Market Café and is a classic cottage pie.
Visitors can pick up a recipe sheet, which is easy to follow and comes with a guide as to where to source the ingredients along with an idea of the cost for a typical family of four.
The first recipe also includes an optional side dish and wine recommendation from Morgan Edwards.
Sandra Curties, Knutsford’s town centre manager, commented: “The recipes will change with the seasons and you will probably see ideas and recipes from each Market Trader not just the cafe!
Sandra added: “We will also be posting the recipe on the market hall’s webpage.”
Knutsford Market Hall is open every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 8am to 4pm. The Market Café also open on Wednesdays.
Shoppers at Knutsford Market can find everything for dinner – from fruit and veg to wine and a great range of meat, poultry and fish.
