As ever, our readers and their kids have been getting creative with their costumes for World Book Day this year.
Here’s a selection of the images we’ve been sent – if you’d like to add yours, please email us and we’ll do our best to include as many as possible.
Lisa’s daughter dressed up as Alice in Wonderland, complete with a themed bow in her hair.
Chloe’s daughter took centre stage as Dolly Parton, along with a guitar and ten-gallon hat.
Kim’s little girl put on her bunny ears and snuggled up on the sofa with Peter Rabbit.
Lisa’s boys joined in the fun by dressing up as wizarding favourite Harry Potter and Toothless from How To Train Your Dragon.
Sadie’s daughter dressed as former house elf Winky, from the Harry Potter series, who struggled to adjust to life as a free elf.
These children at King’s School in Chester had a great time heading to school in a variety of costumes – including characters from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory; The Lion, The With and The Wardrobe; Matilda; Lord Of The Rings; and many more.
These youngsters from Whirley Primary School in Macclesfield all had fun dressing up, and even their teachers joined in the fun – with a minion, a Hogwarts pupil, Paddington, Gandalf and Buzz Lightyear all among the many characters turning up to school today.
