Congleton Camera Club member John Gauld kindly sent us these wonderful photographs taken on Shining Tor – two looking out towards Shutlingsloe and one looking north.
Located in the Peak District, between the towns of Buxton and Macclesfield, Shining Tor sits on the border between Derbyshire and Cheshire. Its summit is the highest point in modern Cheshire (Black Hill near Crowden being the historic county top).
