Cheshire East Council has confirmed that it will hold its Pride in the Park event again next year.
It follows a successful celebration of the LGBTQ+ community in Crewe in June this year.
Next year’s event will take place in the gardens of Tatton Park on Saturday 20th June.
The third event since its inception, this will be the second time Tatton Park has hosted the vibrant event.
Once again, Pride in the Park will welcome people from Cheshire East and beyond, offering a whole host of family-friendly entertainment and activities.
Cheshire East Council is again promising a vibrant parade and a dedicated marketplace of LGBTQ+ organisations to help offer advice and information for guests.
Kath O’Dwyer, acting chief executive at Cheshire East Council, said: “I am delighted that Tatton Park will once again play host to our popular Pride in the Park, it really is a fantastic and beautiful venue for such a large-scale event.
“I have no doubt that visitors will return again for a fantastic day out to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community in Cheshire East, and I have already saved the date in my diary.”
It’s anticipated that future Pride in the Park will now alternate between the locations of Tatton Park in Knutsford and Queens Park in Crewe.
