Stationery store Paperchase is to close its shop in Wilmslow, which first opened in October 2012.
The store on Water Lane is due to shut its doors for the last time at the end of August and staff have told reporters that this is due to the lease for the premises being up for renewal and the landlord being presented with a better offer than their firm’s proposal.
The retailer has been trading for over 50 years and has over 130 stores in the UK.
It also operates more than 30 sites internationally, across Ireland, Netherlands, Denmark, France, Germany and the Middle East.
