Ryan Morris, part of Nantwich Seals Masters swimming group, competed in the AJ Bell 2022 World Triathlon Championships in June.
The event took place on 11th and 12th June 2022 at Roundhey Park in Leeds, where the world’s best triathletes with thousands of other competitors and spectators celebrated a weekend of excitement with an exhilarating swim, bike and run challenge
As a club we are proud to announce that Ryan came 11th out of 89 competitors in the male 30-34 age group.
He achieved:
– 1500m swim in 21 minutes and 15 seconds
– 36km bike challenge in 1 hour 6 minutes and 13 seconds
– 10km run in 39 minutes and 9 seconds
Ryan will be competing again in five weeks’ time on 7th August 2022 in Gdansk, Poland.
He’ll be taking part in the Ironman 70.3 event where he hopes to qualify for the Ironman World Championships (which will be held in Kailua Kong in Hawaii ).
As a club we look forward to Ryan’s continued success in triathlon events.
