Second-year university students from Knutsford are being encourages to apply for a bursary worth over £500 to help with their final year of studies.
It’s part of the Millennium Bursary launched by Knutsford Town Council and Knutsford Lions in the year 2000.
Applicants will need to get their entries in by 17th February 2023, and the scheme is open to any student who usually lives in Knutsford or Toft.
They’ll have the opportunity of winning £575 to support their studies.
Applications are open now, and those who are interested need to complete their entry form online.
A virtual interview will then be arranged with the town mayor, Cllr Mike Houghton, and Lydia Kennedy from Knutsford Lions.
They will decide which student to award the bursary to, and Knutsford Lions may also make additional discretionary awards.
