Knutsford’s new walking food tour, Taste Knutsford, is set to launch this autumn.
Taste Knutsford will showcase the best of Knutsford’s eateries, with guests walking around the picturesque town sampling a variety of foods from brunch, charcuterie, ice creams and sorbet, tapas through to afternoon tea and gin.
The tour will last approximately 3 hours and will be led by a food-loving tour guide Sophie Elizabeth of Sophie’s Scran.
Each tour is limited to 15 people and is best suited for those aged 14 years plus (although bespoke group tours are available). Each tour will start at 11am and finish around 2pm.
Eateries taking part in the tour include:
– Lost & Found
– The Market Café
– Morgan Edwards Fine Wines & Spirits
– The Freemasons
– Real Fruit Creamery
– Wine & Wallop
– The Old Sessions House
– The Cheese Yard
– Cha Bar
– The Courthouse
Sandra Curties, Knutsford Town Council town centre manager, said: “Taste Knutsford is about showcasing the food on offer in our town to tourists, and food lovers and locals as well as promoting our heritage and independent shops.
“Participants on the tour will come away armed with foodie facts and more than likely be very full! It is great to see a variety of restaurants and Booths getting involved and working together.”
After a soft launch on 20th September (stay tuned to our social media channels for an exclusive preview) the first tours will take place on 26th and 27th October, 16th and 17th November and 1st and 2nd February.
Each tour will cost £45 per person. Tickets can be purchased online at www.tasteknutsford.co.uk.
