Helen Rogers established Knutsford Admin in January 2011 to serve businesses, assisting with their finance and admin functions.

The company has become a much-recognised and well-loved bookkeeping/accounts service provider in Knutsford and the surrounding area.

With a good portfolio of clients, the business has appointed a finance director, CIMA-qualified Rebecca Mallon who will run the business with Helen.

Helen explained: “I set up Knutsford Admin to provide support to businesses that didn’t have ‘departments’ including finance and payroll and looked to outsource these functions – and I know that we have provided invaluable support to many such businesses.

“It seems natural now as the business has grown that we appoint our own finance director and finance department.

“I am absolutely delighted that Rebecca shares Knutsford Admin’s enthusiasm for supporting businesses and eagerness to help them flourish.”



Helen said: “Rebecca will particularly focus on providing plain speaking management account reports to our bookkeeping clients.

“She’ll help them understand their numbers and how you can break down the information that goes into bookkeeping software to make sure you get out what you need to help make strategic financial business decisions.”

Rebecca commented: “Joining Knutsford Admin at this time is a privilege.”

She added: “The team has built up a brilliant selection of clients and clearly have very good relationships with them, I look forward to being part of that external finance function in supporting these businesses and for new clients in the future too.”



Louise, who joined Knutsford Admin in 2019, has been studying with the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB).

She and Helen met at the ICB London conference in 2018 and discovered over a cup of tea that they both lived in Cheshire.

Having decided on a career change from nursing, Louise had embarked on her bookkeeping route so taking on a role at Knutsford Admin was perfect to put into practice what she was learning.

Louise said: “Whilst it has been a baptism of fire moving from full time nursing to bookkeeping I have loved working with Knutsford Admin’s clients’ accounts and knowing that our knowledgeable and organised approach really does make a difference to them.

“Contrary to popular opinion we work with accounts and we are NOT boring… quite the opposite at Knutsford Admin!” 


Job vacancy…

Knutsford Admin is currently recruiting a bookkeeper for four or five days per week. If you have relevant bookkeeping/accounts experience they’d love to hear from you.

Equally they would like to hear from school leavers, graduates or career changers who may like to have a job that provides live work experience alongside accounts study – perhaps AAT/ICB/CIMA/ACCA.
