As Cheshire residents stay at home for the coronavirus lockdown, So Cheshire journalists (working under very strict control measures) took the opportunity to capture some remarkable images of towns and villages lying empty.
Note: the streets weren’t entirely empty, as people popped out for essential items and exercise (we waited for a gap in traffic when we took these images) but by and large there were moments of complete emptiness in the scenes, and the number of people out and about was massively reduced.
