Families can enjoy plenty of springtime fun at Boscobel House and the Royal Oak this Easter.
Youngsters will discover the secrets of the historic site and learn more about its fascinating past as part of a ‘cracking’ adventure, packed full of Easter fun and games.
There’ll also be a chocolate reward at the end!
The Easter Adventure Quest launches on Saturday 1st April and continues through until Sunday 16th April 2023.
Families will set off on the ‘eggs-hilarating’ hunt and journey around the picturesque hunting lodge, as they search for clues and undertake challenges to complete their quest to claim a chocolate prize and an adventurer’s certificate.
There will also be the chance to learn about traditional Easter games – who in the family will come out on top and who will end up with egg on their face?
The event is running every day during the school holidays and provides the perfect way to get out and about whilst discovering more about our local history.
Daisy Lambert, site manager at Boscobel House said: “This Easter holiday visitors to Boscobel House can welcome spring with some outdoor fun with the whole family.
“Follow the quest to discover the site’s secrets – all while on a challenge to earn a chocolate reward!”
Tickets can be booked online at: www.english-heritage.org.uk/easter
The quest costs £2, which can be paid when you arrive at the site, and this is in addition to the ticket price.
