Halloween half-term happenings in Congleton

Shares

A Halloween trail has been organised for Congleton town centre over the October half-term holiday.

Congleton Town Council has partnered with 40 town centre businesses to offer the trail for families between 26th October and 2nd November.

Trail forms will be available to download online or pick up from the Congleton Information Centre.

The town’s gothic town hall will also be home to thrilling activities, with a special Witchy Wednesday on 30th October.

The event – which is free to attend, with a minimum £1 donation for pumpkin carving – includes face painting, crafts, cake decorating and a fancy dress competition.

Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times during the event, and booking online in advance is required.

There are three sessions: 11am-12pm, 12.30-1.30pm and 2-3pm.

“We’re thrilled to bring the community together for these free, fun-filled activities in the heart of Congleton,” said town centre and events officer Rachel McCarthy.

Last year marked Congleton’s first town-wide Halloween event, which built on the success of the popular Easter trail.
